  1. Take a look here http://www.iphonehacks.com/2014/11/carplay-hack-external-display.html and here https://github.com/b3ll/CarPlayActivator
  2. I would be willing to give it a shot, but the problem is that it is only a .HAT file The lack of a .YUK file suggests to me that it wouldn't change anything (Like Bluetooth Streaming) The other problem is that I am already on 8.30 EU since this update is numbered 8.05 I'm not sure it would even take.
  3. I have this problem too, earlier in the thread someone stated they thought it might be a Pioneer problem. I had noticed it when using TuneIn Radio. I found that if I turned off the screen it would run much cooler. (Not really an option for video.) There are some problems with ios 6.1.2 also related to iCloud and the Mail being set for PUSH. It runs much cooler for me with Push Off, but it still gets warmer than I am comfortable with.. I do not believe this is an issue with AppRadio Extensions. I am going to try turning off location services for appRadio and see if that helps. The GPS un
  4. Please see the FAQ entry for iOS 6 located at http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/36595-appradio-extensions-faq-read-this-before-posting/
  5. Thank you for that, I grew tired of trying relays and since I do not use Pandora ever I decided to upgrade the firmware on my AppRadio 2 to the EU version of 8.30 for use with my iPhone 4s. I was on 8.17 U.S. firmware which was a single .HAT file. I installed the file SPH-DA100_MMD_EW_Ver08.30.HAT and did not notice any difference except that the unit was set in the settings for iPhone 5, so I switched it back to "Other" and then installed the second file SPH-DA100_SYS_EW_Ver08.30.yuk That made all of the difference in the world. I just had to ground the brake wire and go to settings an

  7. Thanks for everything Mike, money is on the way. Edit: I just downloaded the new AppRadio Extensions v 2.1.0 Beta 9 on my iPhone 4s with ios 6.1.2 and the AppRadio app v2.2.0 It runs really well on my SPH DA100 with firmware 8.17 Full Touch support without any trouble at all for TomTom and Angry Birds. Well Done sir.
  8. From what I can see, you should be able to downgrade your iPhone 4 from 6.1.3 to 6.1.2 with this procedure: http://www.evasionjailbreak.org/downgrade-ios-6-1-3-to-ios-6-1-2-using-sn0wbreeze-snowbreeze/ After that you can use the Beta version of AppRadio Extensions for ios 6 available in the first post of this thread. Be sure that you read the limitations of the current Beta 8 version of AppRadio Extensions. Although it doesn't currently offer Touch input for unsupported apps, I can say that it is a lot better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. mikedecaro has done an amazing jo
  9. Currently, if you upgrade to IOS 6.x you will have no touch support for unsupported apps on your radio. In short, you can not upgrade and get "everything working. I received my AppRadio 2 last night, and since I had already upgraded to IOS 6.1.2 with the Jailbreak I added http://mikedecaro.com/repo/ to my Cydia sources and installed Appradio Extensions version 2.0.1-42 in Cydia. I also installed the Pioneer Appradio App version 2.2.0 This setup, as far as I know, (after reading this entire thread) gives me all of the functionality currently available in IOS 6.x Other members are welcom
