  1. same problem.. is the loading screen a .PIM file? I hate wasting these DL disk for trial and error. I spent $70 on a DL DVD burner just for this alone, so each disk is making this mod more and more expensive. Oh well atleast I got a nice external DL burner.. made by pioneer too, 10X burner for $70 cant beat that...
  2. Just wanted to add the parrot system i have didnt need the cell mute wire. Even though it has it in the harness. If you have an external amp or sup you will need it so it mutes that.. but if you just have factory speaker then dont worry about it. FYI, if you cut off the adapters off the parrot harness, then make sure the group of speaker wires with the yellow cell phone mute is going to your head unit. After many days of trial and error I got my Avic-D2, installed in my 07 VW Jetta GLI 2.0T
  3. well by blue/black wire I am talking about is the blue wire with black stripe. I think its used to ground out the parking brake.
  4. I just finished installing my D2, all the connections are soddered. The D2 was previously installed in my 2003 Chevy trailblazer.. I traded it in and got a 2007 VW Jetta. Anyway, the harness that I bought provides a constant 12v, and a Acc line, since the Jetta's harness doesnt do that. Anyway my problem is the D2 seems to like restarting itself. I did notice that the parking brake trick, where you switch the blue/black wires position on the D2s harness plug, is loose. Could that cause the unit to restart? Some of the harness has been cut down to fit in a tight space and resoddered, co
