Never mind.. after I posted this... I thought to check that the iPod cable was completely plugged in... it was not... now that it is .. video works great... BTW... if anyone is interested I can play EyeTV and watch TV ... with no problems... Woo Hoo... Thanks

I have a new z140BH (bypassed) that is now working correctly with appradio / mixtrax or iPhone video. The unit does work with dvd video and audio I have the correct iPod cable - CD-iU50V -- From Crutchfield I use a iPhone 4S (iOS 5.1) and have tried a iPhone 4 (iOS 5.1) What works. - Streaming Pandora - iTunes music from iPhone - Unit DVD - Radio - Aha Radio - AVIC feeds What does not work - Appradio - I get no display of apps .. only music -- When playing Youtube I get the audio no video - Mixtrax - Audio no display... Looking for some insight I have read on this site that the vss wire is located drive side connector pin 6 yellow wire.. I found the connector and connected the pin 6 wire ... however when connected the wire does not register when monitoring the AVIC at speed... I am assuming that the connector that I should be using is the OBD-II connecter pin 6 yellow wire... any help would be very much appreciated....

I did check the air circulation... that was ok... I just got off the phone with Tech support ... he thinks that have the wiring is messed up.. said to check the HU Blue White and the ILL ... made since... so ... guess I will triple check the wiring one more time .... before I send this back... I really do hope that the problem is at my end... I would feel better that the HU is not screwed up.. I will work check everything this weekend... (freaking work is getting in the way) [again].... update everyone later...

Still not working. (see my earlier post in this thread) Sent the unit back to Pioneer for repair. unit came back in about 7 days (including my 3 day shipping and their shipping).. The papaer work said "NTF" at this point I assume that this means "No Trouble Found" The unit has the same orignal problem. after about a 36 hours the unit sort of dies... Led lights stay on i can hear the fan... but nothing else works... so.. back the unit goes to Pioneer.... Hope they will repair it this time... will report back in a few days.....

same here... I installed on Sat.. everything worked the first time... was tired after 8 hours install ... got up early on Sun... freaking unit was dead... (the LEDs were on and the fan...) after seeing all of the posts on this thread.. beginning to think that maybe there is a QA issue at the factory.... Yesterday I installed a Z1 in a F150. had everything working great!! Z1 Installed XM Installed Bluetooth Installed Backup Camera Installed Ducatiboy Bypass and Sub mods Got done late went on a short drive loving the new install.... Went to bed... got up early to play... Now there is no display... only the leds light up... I have checked all of the wireing and the fuses... Any Ideas ? Thanks in advance
