Back in business....I ended up ordering a new one from circuitcity.com b/c the company I purchased from did not have anymore in stock to exchange so they are letting me return for a refund b/c pioneer would not honor the waranty b/c it turns out the origninal company is not an authorized internet retailer. I guess I learned my leason about buying pioneer products online.

My SIR-PNR2 is dead. I was having all the symptoms that are described in the other threads. I would get really inconsistent symptoms. Sometimes it would start playing as soon as I started the car and then it would stop within 3-5 mins. other times I would start the car and it would just sit there saying 'Aquiring Signal'. I have tried every possible thing I can think off...grounds, connections and connectors, power to the sirpnr2....etc. I have called sirius and they said to call pioneer. Pioneer says I have to fax them my receipt and they will contact me with return info. I think I am going t

I am having issues again. Sometimes it will start right up and then with in 1-2 mins it will cut out and go into 'Aquiring Signal' other times it will freeze and not let me change the channel at all. I really think it may be the antenna...I have no way of really checking it so I am going to have to just buy a new one and try it out.

I have checked that twice. Now for some reason today everything is working perfectly. Now if will stay that way....that is the question.

I am having the same problem with my D3 and SIRPNR2. I have done all the same things you described and I have the same result. I checked my ground connections with a multimeter...it is sat. I had some symptoms that progressed to this. It started out with 'Acquiring Signal' for a while. I figured it might be due to the antenna being in the dash so I moved it to the roof and it worked well right after I put it all back together then it would only work sometimes. Now I have the same symptoms. The D3 recognizes the SIRPNR2 but it get nothing....it is stuck on Ch 184 and it wont display anything or
