Hey J, when I press the target icon to add a speed trap, I then press the add speedcam buttom/icon. After i add the cam and hit done it goes to the previous page as expected (shown here), on this page the return arrow goes again to the add cam page. I want it to return to the map at the view showing when i selected the cam (we can always hit the map button to go to our current gps position). I can hit return on both pages a few times and it eventually goes back to the map view page (or just hit the map button). this was the same for the previous release (3v3.1) also, but w

just tap the red arrow atop the trip computer to hide it. Coding is required to bring the trip computer image in front of speed/elevation bmp's....... IDT may need to chime in on that one

Where is the file that I would edit to add more stock symbols to MSN ? It appears that quite a few are not there. I checked the MSN Direct website and they boast about 900 stocks and index symbols...... imagine that, a pitiful 900....... there are thousands of publically traded companies on just the US markets alone (my interest is US markets) any ideas?

I previously downloaded a "SPUD - TEXT - SPUD" converter (looks like the same one on this thread). I had issues with the txt file converted to spud when the conversion was done "by the Avic" F500BT. it would reboot from time to time after i loaded the speedcam.txt file. when I converted the txt file to spud first and then put that file on the avic it has been flawless as far as the cam function goes. The sound did not work at all until I entered my first manual cam. Just happenstance, no planning on that fix. Now it is a priceless feature (except the F500BT has a "mute head unit" audio issue -

LOL.... remember, its the passenger that does the stuff we should'nt do while driving......thats the reason we have bypasses right.... non of this typing in POI's, addresses, or web pages while we drive. ........right and those guys over on the carputer websites actually carry around unemployed relatives so they can use the carputer system while driving.

Look, with your mod, the f500bt performance jumps 99% just like the big boy Avics, I love it more than my Avic-Z3, and my current OE system.... I find myself driving a little out of the way to enjoy the modded system a little more. I in for a little $$$ on a F500 if you decide to get one

Miotoo....... we cant let this die on the vine. If we can access the web while using the pioneer front end software, the possibilities are endless.... .. I imagine cruising thru San Diego and seeing my gps location blip along using google "satellite image" on my AVIC screen.... ha.....now thats a lot of 3d buildings.. .... or doing the google search and seeing the very latest POI information (not our quickly outdated downloads). oh the possibilities.....

okay, I cant take the tiny avic speaker announcing my speedcam info anymore. and since I am the "only" F500BT user of the mod who uses the speedcams, I guess i will get no support. I need to look elsewhere, and though i really like this mod, the F500BT audio feed issue is addressed in other mods ... good luck and enjoy the mod guys.... kevin

yeah....... it wont work at all without sys.txt revision for F500BT....... forgot during one of my installs.. I did notice on page 3 of the "GURJON SKIN FOR AVIC" thread this post by SPECTER; "If you are using an F500BT with the optional amplifier, you will be happy to know that the sound will go through the amplifier and not just the units little speaker." so this is fixable somehow

enjoying the internet, but suffering reboots periodically..... any ideas why.... anyone working on access from within pioneers software.

I know this sound output thing is apparently F500BT specific, but I notice the "exceeding speed limit" warning audio does indeed mute the HU and annouce over the speakers. Why does this announce correctly, but the "red light camera" warnings do not. They still only announce on the avic itself, forcing me to leave the audio output to "both" and still cant be heard over even moderate volume HU music. PLEASE HELP WITH THIS. The routing of the audio output must be adjustable via code.. I love this friggin IDT interface, looks like I have to pay for this 3.0v3 upgrade also...

YOU GUYS ARE FRIGGIN INCREDIBLE...........the WMWIFIROUTER software on my htc diamond touch wirelessly connected to my F500BT is a success. I have internet anywhere my phone works....... thats pretty muchh the whole US...... now we need to get it going while the AVIC software is running

Okay, You just did it FourG and Miotoo, My minor was Computer Science, but for some time I have been an engineer and my C.S. has lapsed. I still understand the logic but lack the ability to use the latest Code. I will start relearning today. Any pointers for a website for someome who understands the logic but lacks knowledge on the newer code? boy, what am I getting myself into

hey...... this multiplan is a great addition, I often need a second or third option..... Gotta be worth - in the words of that famous clint eastwood movie - "a few $ more"... hope we can get the audio fix in there too.

WEIRD.............. Hey J, I decided to add a few missed and misplaced speedcams. I added them and today, as I approach a speedcam.... I hear the speedcam voice and warning. It is coming thru the avic only.. no muting of the HU. I am quite happy with that for now though I did have turn the volume to max on the avic. It seems that manually adding cams somehow causes the cam audio to activate for all cams on my f500bt. still hoping for speedcam audio thru the HU......any hope for it on the new release

I do use it for IPOD voice control occasionally, But I'd take that trade in a heart beat.....

I agree, it would be awesome to be able to access an internet browser from the AVIC UI without having to boot into testmode! even if just to check weather and traffic in live realtime, this would be great. if WinCE with internet and GPS function is available, I would only need WinCE NAV software and a Music plaver via USB Hard drive. This would allow me to use either WinCE and not miss Pioneers software so much

Have you or anyone come up with where to send the audio produced by the speedcam warnings so that it is heard like other audio output (sends the sound out to the head unit speakers) edit: for the F500BT
