  1. I just recently got the 800W and it took some time to adjust to it from the 650P. I do miss the ease of disconnecting from the AVIC with one button. I have found the 800W way and it is not that much harder. The upside to the 800W is you can go back to handsfree after disconnecting unlike the 650. The option to disconnect and connect can be found by hitting the menu button while in a call. The third option down is connect/disconnect bluetooth. Hope this helps.   2. Ordered my drive on Friday and I received it on Saturday. Talk about service. Drive swap took me 15 minutes at most. I have removed small screws like this before so I didn’t have an issue. The trick to removing them is to put the drive on a solid surface. I clamp a vice-grip on the screw driver to get the turning leverage and push down on the screw driver while using the vice-grip to turn it. Works like a champ.   4. I recently installed an AVIC Z1 in my 04 Chevy Avalanche. The installation went very smooth except for when I was done the stereo didn't dim at night. After doing some research I read that a lot of people forget to hook up the orange with white stripe dimmer wire. I pulled the stereo out and I had in fact hooked the orange and white wire up to the orange and white wire on the adapter. After looking closer I realized that even though the adapter had the wire it didn't match up to anything on the factory plug.
