Can someone change the colors on this? I know nothing about making/altering these images. If you can change the chrome outline to red and then black out the gold portion that would be great. or If you can tint the chrome and make it red(like my avatar) and then tint the gold and make it black that would be great as well. well, I am used to using the antenna wire as an amp turn on. The blue/white wire is labeled as remote control, so I was thinking this had something to do with a wired remote control used to operate the d3.

I searched with no luck. I was reading the install manual (page6) for my D3 and it says not to use the antenna control lead as a turn on lead for an amp. Is it OK to do this or is it BS? If you can't use this, what should I use for a turn on for my amp? Ignition wire? 07 silverado classic crew if it makes any difference. Thanks in advance.

I ordered my D3 from Compuplus at 1am Thursday. I figured it would be shipped FedEx and since they deliver on Saturday, I paid for 2 day shipping. I got an email Friday afternoon with the a UPS tracking #. It shows that the package will arrive this Tuesday. That was a waste of the extra $10. Hopefully I won't have any problems with it, since they apparently aren't an authorized dealer(I asked them if they were and they said "we never have any problems with them because they know us pretty well)

What is the best place to tap into for the illumination?

I am buying a D3 later this week. What wires will I have to connect it to besides the wires for the factory radio? I have searched, but could not find any lists. I know that I need a VSS feed, but from what I have read, some people say the green/white wire at the radio is VSS and some say it is not. I will do the bypass, so the mute, parking brake, and ground can all be tied in together, right? Thanks in advance
