  1. I only double posted because I wasn't sure anyone would reply to the other due to not reading all of the posted replies. I know, I know. But, bettrer safe than sorry. Rookie mistake huh. LOL
  2. I have the CD-70HDD upgrade disc. I used my one time to update my personal head unit. Do you think I can take other hard drives and install into my Z1 to update with the same password? Wanting to try but don't want to screw anything up. I assume the worst that can happen is it will tell my incorrect password and deny me. Any advice, warnings, or educated opinions would be appreciated.
  3. What if I installed my customers harddrive into my unit and used the same serial num and password. In other words, it's still my unit with a different drive in it. Not sure if the serial it is asking for is specific to my harddrive or my head unit. Do you think this is worth a try? I have an extra used Z1 at my shop right now. I would like to try this. Would just like some opinions or advice before I screw up something. I assume that the worst thing I will encounter is that it will just tell me the update is rejected or invalid password.
  4. Has anyone hacked or figured out a way to use the update more than once? KEYGEN? Etc? Has anyone successfuly downloaded and installed any of the Keygen upgrade downloads. All I can find is people talking about doing it or providing the links, but no one seems to have actually done it and I am not gambling on a customers head unit. PLEASE HELP!!! I am an authorized Pioneer dealer. I purchased the CNDV-70HD upgrade disc. I am ashamed to say that I purchased it as soon as it came out and was available and am just now using it. I only purchased it as a tool because I was informed it c
  5. First of all, make sure your antenna has a clear path to the sats and make sure it is mounted securely in position (mounted and doesn't move). The unit will self calibrate over time to compensate for the ant being crooked or backwards. Next, Clear out the vehicle dynamics memory. Go to Settings, Hardware Info, Calibration Screen (shows speed sense, mileage traveled, etc.). To the right of each of the three readings hit CLEAR. Clear them all out and drive. This make the system relearn the car from scratch. Should be done everytime the unit is installed into a new or different vehicl
  6. When I switch to the guage screen, no guages pop up. The touch screen does not respond either. I swapped units in my truck with a brand new on and it does it too. What the hell did I do wrong. I disconnected the speed sense wire with no fix. Please advise. Any help greatly appreciated.
