  1. The average speed is more valuable than we realize. It isn't just for time estimates - it's where the D3 gets it variables from for the math problem. Typically (where I am anyway), the interstate is an out of the way trip. Well guess were my avaerage speed is set the fastest on the D3?
  2. Guys I want to chime in on this. First off let me say that I travel quite a bit for work. I live in MS and often travel to LA, TN, and AL. For about 2 years I have owned a Garmin M5 which did an excellent job in terms of routing. Here is what I have found with the D3. The first thing you need to do is set your average speeds. In the south there are many "major" roads that have speed limits of 55 mph, but they are 4 lane roads that you can easily do 65-70 mph on. I had to tell the D3 that. Freeway, put in what you really average. Don't tell it 90 mph because that is the fastest yo
  3. So we can get these in 30 minutes and no Nissan stuff in 4 days?
  4. I knew someone would like it. I'm telling you once your done it's awesome. Plus, if you decide one day you hate it, just put your regular library on the ipod. I even make backups of the ipod every few weeks so that if something happened to the ipod I wouldn't have to start over.
  5. On the GPS and Sat Radio antennas, is it possible to paint them to match the dash color? I wouldn't think that would hinder reception. Thoghts? Anyone done it?
  6. I have the 30gb ipod photo and the Menu button basically takes me back one step. For instance, once I select my song from the album it starts playing. When I touch menu it takes me back to the list of songs I am playing from. Is that considered working properly? By the way this is on a bypassed D3.
  7. I have been an iPod fan for years. If your like me you have thousnads of songs and refuse to go anywhere without them. Last year I bought the new Alpine single din head unit that had iPod control. It was awesome, however, scrolling through 5,000+ songs and 700+ artists can be tedious to say the least when you are going 70 mph, or sitting still for that matter. I created a system that's incredibly easy for me to navigate. Let me warn you, the more music you have, the longer this is going to take, but the greater the reward. I took a few letters at a time and knocked this out in a coupl
  8. Hey guys, some of these backgrounds blow my mind. I am looking for some really nice, factory styled Nissan backgrounds. Seen several Titan, Maxima, and 350Z's. I just bought a Frontier and don't want anything vehicle specific, but I love the Honda one with the emblem floating above the Earth. Anyway, just some basic Nissan logo stuff would be awesome. Thanks.
