I bought this used and it didnt come with with the magnetic pad, do i really need the pad or will the antenna stay put? thanks shane

yes it is verizon...i dont understand it my girlfriends pink v3m has the option but mine doesnt...i have tried the upgrade but that does nothing...lol

I have tried everything. i have a verizon razr v3m and i cannot get it to transfer my phonebook. i keep getting the error service not supported. will the v3m work with it? thanks shane

ok i regrounded everything and ran a ground to each of the rca's i still get a little bit of engine whine, but not as bad as it was. could i add a ground loop isolator to the already grounded rcas to get rid of the rest of the whine?

done that too...no luck

i recently installed components in my 06 tc and now i have a alt whine. i have tried 2 amps and grounded the rcas and it is still there. the ground i used for the amps is bare metal so i dont think that is the problem. could it be the head unit itself? thanks shane

it should be on a yellow card they put in with the manual...check there

ok got everything working now, but have one more question...on the screen in xm is there supposed to be a white rectangle box? looks like it is missing something. Shane

i bought a refurbished unit the gex-p10xmt and when i went to activate it, it says it is already activated but i dont get any channels. do i need to call xm to deactivate it and then reactivate it? TIA Shane
