I have had my AVIC-Z2 for about a year now, i received it when my AVIC-Z1 took a Shit. The sub woofer output stopped working, and would cause the subs to turn on and off because a short in the unit output. The Z2 worked great for about a year and now it started again on my new Z2. The subs turn on and off, same as when i had my Z1. I know its not the amp bc its new and this problem was persisting when i had my old amp as well. I bought the piece of shit with a 4 year warranty from Circuit city prior to them going out of business. Now im stuck bc now that they are gone i can't just bring it in

The passcode for the Blackjack with the Z1 is four 1's "1111". Make sure u register the phone with the Z1 to make the connection. make sure your phone box is check that says "Make this Device Visible to other devices" under the bluetooth connection menu on the Phone. this should be all u need..O and make sure your connection to the bluetooth receiver with your phone is strong enough. I can do the new bypass with the units made prior to July?

Is there a replacement Microphone that anyone would recommend to be used with the Z1 that would work better?? What about removing the file that stops the flash Bypass from the Upgrade CD?? Has anyone seen the external Speaker just for use with the bluetooth adapter? do u think that would cut down the amount of echo??

Indeed, i know i have to ground a few wires for the new bypass, and what not. but i want to be able to update everything including the CD database as well as the bluetooth upgrade without bypass fuck up problems.

Will the New Bypass Method work with Z1 Units manufactured prior to the July date? i know the flash bypass will.

Does anyone know what files on the upgrade CD from Pioneer I can remove and burn to another Cd; so when i put it in the Z1 unit in my truck it doesn't disable my Flash Bypass?? there has to be a way! If my unit was manufactured prior to July can i use the new bypass instead of the Flash bypass; so that i can use the update CD for the echo problem? Will the new Bypass method void the manufacture warranty? I have a 4 year extended warranty through shity Circuit City. Also i have been getting mixed information about if the Cingular Samsung Blackjack is compatible with the bluetooth adapter?
