Alright I'm downloading again on my desktop. I downloaded winrar as well. The containing folder has the winrar logo (3 books stacked) so I guess it Auto winrar'd it? Anyway do I just drag the containing folder to the sd card, or do I have to open the containing folder and drag a secondary folder to the sd card?

How would this work out on a MacBook

I put the sd card into my Mac to delete the fx3.1 off of it since it didnt work. And it says that it's locked. Maybe that is the problem? Lol

I see, I tried fx3.1 and I had an error message. Not sure if I did something wrong copying it to an sd card. But it didnt work for me

Got the firmware update from pioneer today. Stopped at 96% this things about to be a paper weight

I wonder if where I downloaded it from caused an issue. I got it off pirate bay. I tried to do everything correctly but still got the issue

I downloaded it and used winzip and transferred it to my sd card. Keyed it on and followed the instructions. Did I miss something? I'm not computer shabby but I think the winzip worked because the icon changed to books rather then a folder

This didnt work for me, got to the part where I choose the upload from sd and it says winzip missing or something like that. I formatted the as card and tried everything but not working. Any suggestions?

Good to know I'm not alone! I don't know where to go from here. I ordered the same firmware from pioneer and it was free. So I'm going to see if that works out. But any other suggestions are more then welcome!

My f700 is always rebooting and says please wait system start up all of the time. I went on the pioneer website and downloaded the 2.08 update from them. But at about 47% it stops and says. copying error, card\lpue080\apl2\igo\scansoft\realspeaksolo\speech\components\vf_virgine_r40_83swf11_165 Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here??? I tried a hard reset and tried just pressing the reset button. It's failed the update numerous times and I'm sick of trying different things. I used my sd card from my camera and wiped it clean and installed the program from pioneer. But like stated above no
