When I try to enter PASSWORDPASSWORD for the asked password it keeps asking me if I want to retype the password. Do you know how to fix it?

Hi guys! first thanks for welcoming me on you site. snce I'm a newbee with pioneer GPS unit I have a question wich can sound a bit silly. i found the 2012 update US & Can for unit X 9300BTon a website (torrent.),but I'm the owner of a x9310BT. Is it dangerous to corrupt or brick my unit if I install this update my unit? thanks for sharing your skills. pilule
