is my light green parking break wire already grounded if i have the ducati curcuit? If so, I only have to ground one more wire?

Will I have to purchase anything else now?!

Also, now the the HD is Z3 image, the "flashing" bypass no longer works, which means the adapter i purchased no longer works? The only option to have full functionality all the time is to pull out headunit and do 2wire bypass?

So the ducati bypass is no longer valid at all? If that was the original install method, can the two wire bypass still be done? If so, how long does it take? Where is the best sticky so I can get this done. Garrett, are you local to Laurel/College Park MD? I would be willing to pay for u to do the two wire bypass. Thanks.

Looks like i messed up. I now have a z3 HD in my z1 that was originally bypassed with the ducati device that I purchased through this forum years ago. Now even with my parking break on, I can not plan a route or watch videos. My Jetta GLI and Z3 is now just a music player with a map. what do i do now?

I have a 2004 Jetta GLI, only issue was finding the speed sensor wire. Everything is working just fine and with a lil dremmel work and the pioneer kit, all is well.

I bought from mytaxfree.com with TONS of reservations, but I just couldn't deny the amazing price. It took me ONE WEEK to get the Z1, just as they has said, it was in MINT condition, and I have had zero problems so far (knock knock on wood). I purchased it about 2 weeks ago and it has been installed for 3 days. any questions, feel free to ask.

Been reading all over the net regarding the AVIC Z1, the bypass, harnesses, mounting kits, ...... but I'm still left with questions. will the avic z1 be able to be installed in my car? crutchfield.com says NO :( the unit is being purchased brand new, what accessories do i need in order to do the install? I am already picking up the bypass offered here and have the harness. Do i need a DOUBLE DIN sleave/kit? if i plan on going with XM Traffic, is it ok to wait and do that install later down the road, or will it be MUCH easier to just get it out of the way in one shot? is

I have been thinking about the same thing for about a week. I should have my avic z1 installed by the end of the week and I plan on getting some black felt or velvet or some soft material/fabric and cut it to exact size of the unit (maybe a bit bigger) than use velcro to attach it when the car is parked. any other ideas would be great.

So my passenger can input GPS directions while i drive and or watch a movie. and so i can use it while in traffic or waiting at a stop light i have been reading all over the forum and I would love to just have to have my lights on then turn them off at the load screen. however, i have daytime running lights that can not be turned off unless i pull the E brake when the car is on. will this keep the trick from working? will turning my actual headlig
