  1. Hi, I have a Z1 with the upgaded software 2.0. I paired the LG VX8350 with the unit and was getting the real bad echo sound, i followed the insructions posted and fixed that problem. Everything sounds great but only when sitting still. When i try to make a call while i'm driving it seems like my signal strength gets real weak, calls break up & come back or drop completely. Basically, while i'm driving a havn't been able to complete a call where i can here the other party clearly. I've been testing around my house where signal strength is normally fine. When i disconnect my phone from bluet
  2. I just received my replacement Z1 unit after sending the original in 3x's for same freeze up problem. After getting the original unit back from repair the second time I didn't even replace my radio bezel/trim on my car. This left the Z1 real cool, with ac running, I could touch the sides of the Z1 and it was barely warm. After stopping for gas it froze up agin and remained that way the whole day. There is no way heat was an issue, the unit was exposed to the ice cold air all day. Pioneer sent me a remanufactured Z1 as a replacement. I just reinstalled it, we will see how this one works. P
  3. Hi everyone, I just got my AVIC Z1 back from repair and reinstalled it. Everything is working fine except I have a buzzing sound coming through the speakers while I'm pressing any functions on the radio or touchscreen. No buzz when music is playing and radio left alone. For example, if I change stations on XM, during that one or two second delay until the new station comes up I hear the buzzing sound. The buzz does not increase or decrease with the volume, always constant so if I have the volume high I can't dear the buzz but when volume is down I hear it clearly while pressing any of the radi
  4. I've had my z1 back in my car for 3 days now. No problems so far. It was almost 100 outside over the weekend and the car was parked in direct sunlight several times. Pioneer claimed NTF but did delete all my songs in the library so i'm curious if they really found no trouble why clear the hard drive? I'm also starting to think this isn't just a heat problem, when mine started acting up on a daily basis there were several times where i just pulled it out of the garage in the morning, drove the car for 10-15 minutes, restarted the car and it would freeze up on the pioneer screen. No way the
  5. Hi everyone, new to the forum. I am having the same problem, bought a new avic z1 about three months ago, worked fine for a couple weeks and then started to freeze at the pioneer logo. The problem got progressivley worst over the next three weeks, going from a once a week problem to a daily problem. I live in Florida so the car gets very hot in the summer. It's gotten to the point where i can only get the unit to work on the first start in the morning. Sent it to Pioneer twice in the last six weeks and both times NTF, reset system. The customer support could care less about my problem. I just
