  1. I had a Z2 stolen and I'm replacing it in the next 7-10 days. Looks like new order will not get me an UPFATED version, so I'd like to get an image/disc if possible.
  2. My plan has a cap of $1500 on the stereo. Fortunately the adjuster worked with me on it. My Z2 was over $1500, plus install, pus XM, Plus BlueTooth, Plus install kit, etc. It is best to call and ask. Telling them you have $2500 or so into it should not increase the rate much. I plan to do so as soon as I install a replacement. Mine was taken this weekend, after only three weeks in the car.
  3. I have a Dodge Charger ('06). I installed a Z2 3 weeks ago. Only to have it stolen this weekend. Ya, sucks in a major way. Anyway, I'm going thru the process of the claim, repairs etc. I had some issues on the previous install. I could not get the Z2 to fully integrate with the steering wheel. It also did not link to HAL (INtrnal car computer). 1. The dash display always showed AM 530 instead of the actual station. Has anyone been able to get this to link or is it something to live with? 2. I could not get the button that cycles through AV sources to work. Ended up connecting it t
  4. The product code CNDV-700HD says it is for the Z1. From the pioneer site: Upgrade for Pioneer HDD Navigation System(AVIC-Z1) Will it work on the Z2?
  5. It's as much a cosmetic issue as the signal for me. I have an area that there is a slight dip/valley (maybe 75-100') with high trees on both sides of the road. I lose signal there. In my garage I get a limited signal. (Two story wood frame home). The other issue is that the magnet may be an issue in a car wash. I tend to not use ones that touch the car but a strong jet could cause an issue. Anyone using it (AM antenna) on the dash? (will read for post on that idea as well) -Mike
  6. I have a new install of the Z2 and the GEX-P10XMT. The GEX-P10XMT comes with a small antenna and it seems to be weak. Is there another model that works with it? I'd like a more standard looking (areo) one that can be mounted on rear roof. (Dodge Charger) Thanks, Mike
