  1. Evening chaps, Searched all over the forum but couldn't find anything relating to this issue. I am looking to find out how to change the attenuation seetings. To explain further when listening to music whilst also in navigation mode (being directed to your chosen destination) I have set my unit to reduce the volume of the music as it annoys me when the music simply cuts off. The volume of the music reduces proportionately to the original volume so load music to start with will be louder than quieter music when the navigation kicks in. I am basically looking for the section of code that
  2. European version is out but I couldn't find any links anywhere. I ended up buying a set of discs off eBay in the end. PM me if you are interested.
  3. Guys, according to the manual the Map database "was developed and recorded up to May 2007. Changes to streets/roads made after that time may not be reflected in this database" I think this pretty much answers everyone querying why a street built yesterday isn't showing. On another note my D3 actually loads up much slower. Navigation takes extra time to boot up too. Cheers Ste

  6. Hi, Can anyone tell me how far the volume knob sticks out from the Avic D3 unit as I am just in the process of creating a cover to fit over the front, to deter thieves. I am using a standard radio front that I have buthered and am going to stick it on to a metal sheet. I cannot use a flat sheet of metal due to the volume knob. It will have to sit just off the face itself if that makes sense. Thanks Ste
