I believe so, but you might need to copy the speedcam txt files yourself (get from BorisM's thread) into the APL2/IG0/CONTENT/SPEEDCAM directory. Humptystyg can confirm, though he told me that copy the items of the zip into the IG0 folder will do it all, but he has no txt files for cameras and I do not see the enable_speedcam = 1 setting in the debug section of the SYS.TXT file. Ceger Will I still don't see an option to turn on the speed cam under the warnings icon in settings, I did move them files into the content/speedcam directory but still no option in my settings to turn it

This is only useful so far for viewing changes to the main screen, and that is it. You cannot run any of the other items. If and when we can, it would be great to use this as a way to check screen modification layouts and ensuring all BMP and icon files are correctly placed in the DATA.ZIP file. Oh well, so promising, yet so dead ended. Ceger

I really wish that Pioneer would work to have one product with the best features of the Z and F series in one. There are many things the Z series does with Nav and AV screens which are better, yet the F series has other aspects that are better. Kind of annoying to have such differences in one company's portfolio. Ceger

I mean about the speedcam text files. Those are not part of DATA.Zip. I was asking if you have them installed into CONTENT/SPEEDCAM folder or on your SD card as described above (from the pioneer.ini file). Ceger

So this file has the date as well? If so, awesome. Also, is this built upon 2.0 update DATA.zip? Ceger

dumpystig, do you copy your speedcam txt files to APL2/IG0/CONTENT/SPEEDCAM or just keep it on your storage card at poi\speedcam? Just wondering. Since I was being cautious and did a compare, I realized that all pioneer.ini files reference the following... [speedcam] import_directory="\Storage Card\poi\speedcam" Was wondering. Anyways, cannot wait to try this tomorrow. Ceger

Should create a new thread for this zip. Based off Mav's effort with speedcam, custom font alignment, etc.. Kudos to Mav and dumpystig. Ceger

That font rocks and actually matches more to text in my 2007 Grand Prix. Bring it on!!! Ceger Edit: Don't forget to add items needed outside of the DATA.zip such as any SYS.TXT changes, etc.. You can also just list out any thing you might have added to non DATA.zip contents. Another question... are the files for a 500BT compatible with 900BT? Anyone?!?

I attached a sample zip that has a text file in it that says "Hello". You basically go to make a normal post and then go to the bottom, browse for your file, then click add attachment. You must have a message typed first however. test.zip

Speedcam and Place UI files, and not setting and place ones? That might be why I had the problem. Any new BMPs that need to be moved over as well? I am asking because your zip had the latter 2 and not the speedcam one in it. Ceger I made more changes than just speedcams in mine. Settings could be used too, but they mostly let you turn cams on and off, if you turn them on in SYS.TXT they will just stay like that... Is that why you said that the debug addition for speedcam enablement in the SYS.TXT file was unnecessary? Also, did you mean to include the SpeedCam UI's file in

Reading through the thread, it looked like dumpystig had done it, but there was never any link to the file. It did seem that he was trying to upload it though. Ceger

Anyone have a completed DATA.zip file they would be willing to share that has Mav's tweaks with SpeedCam? Ceger

APL2/IG0/CONTENT/SPEEDCAM folder. Ceger

Is there a complete list of what specific files are necessary to do this mod? I want to integrate this into the Maverick Mod. I used and updated the files BorisM listed and had in his zip, but there must be something else missing since the system just hung at the System Starting Up message and then would reboot after 5 minutes, over and over. I moved the Place and Setting 800_400 and Common UI files into my existing DATA.zip, updated the SYS.txt file to turn on SpeedCam, and copied the data txt files into the IG0/Content/Speedcam folder. There must be something else missing. Any hel

Good to know. But it wouldn't hurt to have it in there with the others then. Thanks Ceger

So replace, but replace what? I assume that the mod for turning on the features is looking for those specific file names. And I am not sure if both files are supposed to have the same info, or what your file pertains to; red lights or speed traps (Red_Light_Camera_us.txt or Speed_Trap.txt respectively). Ceger

I assume this data to put towards the red light speed cam thread at http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19523. Should these values be added or overwritten to those in either the Red_Light_Camera_us.txt or Speed_Trap.txt files or both? Thank you in advance. Ceger

Got it. Shipped yesterday. Thanks No. Thank you master of the knobs! Ceger

Was wondering if you received my payment. Came from K Stanford. I sent $29 for the black ridged knob. Thanks, Ceger

Yes, your parking brake must be grounded. Ceger

Guga, Do you know where the UI/XML files for the AV screen are kept at? Also, know what a bpnd file is and what can open one? Ceger

Thanks, Ceger
