Very cool, just plugged in the 4S on iOS 6.1 & it all works, full screen control, from home button, running Tom Tom & TuneIn Radio same time, got full functionality Mike you are a star, I just might do this for the iPad too as I am struggling to get 1.8.2 working with it

Ok just reread the FAQ for the iphone 4S with iOS 6 and went through the procedure, and so far its not crashing every time I add an app. So thats cool. I get the car back tomorrow and if this works then i dont need the ipad to work, although it would be cool to have them both working as i just bought the ram mount for the ipad... so gonna put that in the back seat centre and have ipad head unit mounts behind both seats... hopefully it all goes according to plan...

HI Mike, I have iphone 4S with iOS 6.1 and i read through plenty of the posts, tried installing what you said, failed. I then tried to get an ipad going with iOS 5.1.1 jailbroken, AppSync'd 5.0 and cracked appradio 1.8.2 via itunes, and its just not loading onto the ipad when i sync. whats my next move? I have a house full of iOS devices and AVH-X5550BT direct from Thailand. everything about it rocks except what i bought it for... Help!
