Now that CarBridge is out, allowing most apps to run on CarPlay head units, has anyone had any luck getting AppRadio apps to run under CarBride?

Can the AVIC-5201NEX do both if the AppRadio cable is installed?

Still have an original AppRadio in my truck running off an iPhone 4s. Would love to go back to iOS 6.1.3 & AppEx. Wouldn't mind donating too for a methodology to do this too.

Will AppRadio be compatible with iOS 9? Owners of earlier AppRadio units have had issues with iOS upgrades in the past, causing long waits to regain functionality.

Just need 39 more folks willing to do the same.

I'd be willing to chip in $50 if it meant I'd be able to use my SPH-DA01 with my iPhone 4S running iOS 8.1.2 the way I used to back on iOS 6.1.2 with AppEx. A lot cheaper than replacing it.

Nope. The versions on the BigBoss Repo & the mikedecaro repo are now both the most recent. Mike used to have a link to the version prior to 2.0 at the top of this thread but now it's just 2.0. Anyone have access to that earlier version?

Finally found a version of AppRadio App (1.8.2) that runs on iOS 5.1.1. now to see if AppEx 2.0 will run with such an earlier version of AppRadio.

AppRadio App 2.5 from the link above does not seem to work. It loaded to the phone ok, but when I click on the icon on the phone the app crashes. Any other links to earlier versions of the AppRadio App & corresponding AppRadio Extension versions? Thanks...

Just realized I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1.1 at my disposal. What do you think about setting it up to run dedicated (without SIM card) to my AppRadio (the original one) & just bluetoothing to my jail broken iPhone 4s that I always carry? I would jail break the 4, run AppEx on the 4 & MiFi on both. That way I could tether the 4 to the 4s with MiFi On Demand when I was in the truck. Would MotionX GPS drive or Waze be able to update maps via MiFi tether?

Even though I could have the AppRadio 1 connect via Bluetooth to the iOS 8 phone for hands free?

I figured I'd Bluetooth to the iOS 8 iPhone 4s but run all other functions off the wifi linked SIM card less 4s. Would apps like Motion-x GPS drive be able to download its maps with this set up?
