1. I get the lock up on boot sometimes. It will boot, but sirius will still play (or any source it was on before) What I have found is that it's heat dependent. When the unit gets too hot it won't boot (my vents run along top of it) I don't know if this would apply to your issue or not.
2. Tripper. Have you tried completely deleting the phone from the avic, and the avic from the phone, then doing a reset on the head unit and then reconnecting? Could be the bluetooth stack in the avic became corrupt
3. http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/RegEdit/ here ya go
4. A lot of the time this happens because BT is going into suspend mode to save power. The resolution is to use a registry editor on your PPC (I reccomend PHMedit) and do the following HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\State\ Suspend, add a new DWORD called btl1: (note the colon, the colorn must be there), with a DWORD value of 2. This will tell the PPC not to put BT into suspend mode and will maintain a constant bluetooth connection if another bt device is around
5. No TOS link on the back of the unit...
6. Funny... I paid 35 bux for a cheapy camera off of ebay.. It's been through 2 units in the last year and never had a prob... Seems this is a common complaint of the pioneer cams...
7. Well, if it makes you feel anybetter you only need to flash your lights once, not 3 times.

Z1, Easy to Steal?
how easy is a Z1 to steal? just wondering cuz its not detachable... is it safe to leave it in dash? thanks!
Well if someone is determined enough, any stereo can be stolen. What you could do is rig a small chain in the back on a bolt post and bolt the other end to the body. (Seen this done a lot) Or you can do what i did. Build a wood box to encase it, bolt the wood box with large bolts to the the inner dash then run good 8mm security bolts (torx or whatnot) through the side of the box into the mounting bolt holes on the side. Also note that a lot of insu
9.
Source? I own an electronics store.
Ok, how about something on the web, in print is what I'm saying... Again though, why is anyone going to shell out the money for HD just so they can listen to 40 mins of commercials per hour? No one seems to want to address this.
10. I have yet to hear a commercial on any of the music channels what so ever on Sirius...Now on the talk/entertainment ones (including stern) Yes, they have commercials, but most of that is because it comes from outside sirius (except for stern and he only has mebbe 10 mins worth of commercials per couple of hours)
11. Ground loop isolators are a bandaid... You should actually fix the problem. What your problem is, is that your radio and the other stuff (amp, accessories etc) are not connected to the same reference ground. So essentially you' ve created a loop antennae (like a uhf antennae) Fix your grounds.. GLR's will actually give you some sound loss.
12.
Matt here and i'm still lost all i need to know is what is meant by flashing your lights manually and what is it exactly i need to get to make this happen? I looked up tr7 on ebay and saw there were a few and even ones with a little radio shack toggle, i like it. But is that what i need? If someone could just let me know - I'm confused sorry ! Matt
Read the bypass thread in the z1 hack section
13.
HD Radio is being planned as an add-on for the Z1 once the new firmware comes out which will add it to the GUI.
Source? I really just don't see the point of HD radio. Nothing but commercials.. I truly think sat radio is where it's at...JMO is all.
14. 2 things... Make sure your positive and negative power to the sirius unit are correct...Strange things happen when they're backwards... 2nd, have you hit the DISP button to change the display?>
