  1. I have a 2008 GMC Sierra with Bose and On-Star. I use the PAC OS-4 to interface with my Z110BT. The Park Assist issue you are describing is more than likely caused by your integration module or improper installation of it. I had a malfunction with my PAC OS-4 and had the exact same issue. PAC makes good products I just was unlucky with one I had. No problem it was covered under warranty through the place I purchased it from. Part Info: http://www.pac-audio.com/productDetails ... egoryID=26 I purchased mine via Amazon but picked Pacific Stereo (great customer service when I had a
  2. If we are not using the Blue/White (System Remote Control) wire to turn on an amp couldn't we pull this wire and move it to the hole that the original instructions say move the Yellow/Black wire to. Then ground the Blue/White wire and continue to use the Yellow/Black wire in its original location so external sources can mute the stereo? It appears that the mute wire is necessary for those of us who have OnStar and would like the stereo to be muted when using OnStar.

  4. I know this might be impossible and convoluted but I wanted to see what you guys thought. Bear with me on this. Avic-Z2/Z1 --> Factory supplied IDE cable --> 2.5" PATA Male/Male adapter --> 2.5" to 3.5" PATA adapter Ok now we have converted the AVIC-Z2/Z1 to use a standard PATA interface but the power adapter on the 2.5" to 3.5" PATA adapter above would have to have a gender change in order to plug into the 3.5" power interface. From this point you could possibly use a standard 3.5" drive and mount it external in the dash. There may be a power and shock issue here and y
  5. Shotgun_customs, Judging from the name of your picture this is in a Sierra. What model Pioneer is that in the picture or more importantly what is the depth of the unit? My major concern is depth for this application. The AVIC-Z2 is 6-1/2" deep and the clearance I believe in the GMT-900 vehicles (Tahoe, Sierra, Yukon, Avalanche, etc) is I believe 6-5/8" deep. Then there is the concern of additional depth needed for the cables and still be able to mount flush. Thanks, Chad That unit is the AVIC-D2. Depth isn't that big of a concern b/c we cut out the sub-dash of all our ins

  7. Has anyone installed an AVIC-Z2 in the new model GM trucks? This would include any 2007+ Tahoe, Yukon, Sierra, Silverado, and Avalanche. If so please share your experience with this install. - Do you have any pictures of your install? - Any fit issues? - What kit did you use and why? - What factory interfaces and steering wheels controls did you use?
