Hello to all, I know that my Avic F900BT is not the latest model on the market but I hope that some of you can still help me to solve this damn problem. Suddenly it stopped working with the display stucked on the startup screen, in my case the Mercedes-Benz logo. The CD player still worked but without the ability to move between tracks. Then... first I tried to follow the instructions found in the forum, trying to make a backup of all data but the only files I've found are the following: GPSPARA0.BIN GPSPARA1.BIN GPSPARA2.BIN GPSPARA3.BIN In addition to the above files I fo

Ok guys it's been a few years since I've been on here just barely got a car that has the avic f900bt in it back up and running and wanting to update to the most recent firmware, on pioneer's site they are only showing a ver of 2 still, I see an install guide for 3.0 and then mods for 4.0 but can't find a thread with the links for 4.0 so I was wondering if a 4.0 install guide can be stickies so for those of us looking to come back and get the most up to date version don't have to spend a couple hours sorting through years worth of threads. I'm hoping a mod or vet of the forum can post a link to

Hi All, i received a notification from Pioneer about iPhone 5 update availability (i've an european AVH-8400BT). As i've got an iPhone 5, i downloaded the ZIP and followed the instructions. Step 1: BT Firmware -> OK! Step 2: First file -> OK! Step 3: Second file... I put the USB flash drive in, demo appeared, so i pressed menu button. The demo crashed. I had the part about the "MIXTRAX" feature freezed on the screen. I pressed the RESET button on the unit and... booom! The unit doesn't power up anymore. Black screen. Completely dead. Nothing! I checked the fuses and they'

Hi everyone, I have a european (dutch) F320BT and when I look in the software info it says version 1.0. I've seen lots of posts now but none is clear about the following: 1) Can I update to version 2 or version 3? If so, how (without buying products or services from Pioneer) 2) I see a lot of mods says version 3 is needed, are there mods available for version 1 that I have? 3) If I were to buy the 2012 map update, does this automatically upgrade the software version? (I found one on ebay) 4) Can I update the maps manually from the internet somewhere? Which files do I need and where

Hey guys so Ive been posting a bit now that I finally own an Appradio 2 and i just need to let everyone know that I love it. Coupled with a Smartphone this thing can do just about anything. I think pioneer has taken car radio's to a whole new level and I can guarantee you that other manufacturers are taking notes and will soon follow. Its way far from a traditional HU and this thing has tons of potential. I am a Technical Analyst for Dell so to have a HU that can do mostly everything that I need is a blessing and a must!! Yes it has its glitches but I am willing to look past that and have fait

One of the entries in the Jailbreak Appradio2 thread identified that there was a new firmware for AR2 out. Followed instructions and have version 8.15 loaded on my AR2. Fixed my iPhone contacts list and functionality now all works with the radio running. Don't know what else they fixed. My FM reception still sucks. Easy to do. Just followed the ODF instructions. After having the AppRadio for a couple days, I decided to upgrade the firmware to 2.45. However, after upgrading, my unit now only boots into Windows CE. Is there any way I can flash the device to reinstall the AppRadio firmware without having to uninstall the whole unit from my car and ship it to Pioneer to fix it?

Hi all, I recently bought another Avic x1r from ebay, in order to replace my previous unit that was unable to reproduce dvd anymore (mechanism error). Everything was perfect except for the gps. Even using my original cndv 40mt cartography the display said "insert an appropriate disk", but dvd movies were ok...! Please note that the unit went with a burned copy of the cndv 100mt, and the gps didn't work anyway. So, I tried a firmware downgrade following the step-by-step procedure found here, in service mode. But it failed. Now when turning on the Avic asks for an appropriate disk and r

After replacing my back up (the one Vitormvieira offered on his topic http://avic411.com/i...4-vitormvieira/), i've been trying to update the firmware. However, when i'm facing the red screen to start the update (as attached), the system tells me i'm using incorrect software... Does anybody knows wich one i need? I've been trying the 3 different upgrades on pioneer's site (with no maps, 100 fm and 200 fm) and also the one vitormvieira told, but non of these works!

I have a 910 that had the boot problem with black screen. Now i have done the update with all of the new maps and new WinCE update. Now the units will only turn on and say the "application av.exe has performed an illegal opperation and now will be closed." I think i am missing some of the files out of the windows folder and start up folder. if someone would please check the file folders and let me know what is in them as mine are empty. Thanks

I only thought of this due to me actually requiring someone to upload an original pioneer AVIC-F9110BT with updates as my update from the Pioneer website failed, so it would be a good idea for people like me who diudnt know about this site beforehand and had not backed their old firmware up. GOOD IDEA??

Hey all, It's been a couple years since I've been on here. I was wondering if anyone can point me to where I can find the 3.0 FW update. Short of buying the CNSD-200FM. I'm on 2.006 (or whatever) now, but there seem to be alot of good things I've heard about the 3.0 release. Also, any instructions would be greatly appreciated. ~mike

Hi all - new to the forum so please bear with me...! I used to have an F910bt until it was stolen and have now upgraded to the F930bt. Problem is that I hate it!! The mapping is not very good, the menus have a rubbish 'touch-scroll' feature, not up and down arrows!! The only good thing is that it is slightly faster and has some more features - none of which I use. I wanted to ask if there is any way that I can have the f910bt software/firmware on the new unit?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks!
