  1. I know that the 3.5mm jack in the rear is really an AV minijack; however, has anyone here ever used a standard audio mini-jack in the rear and use the AUX source as an audio-only AUX-in? The part that Pioneer recommends in the owner's manual for the AVIC NEX units (CD-RM10) doesn't even seem to be even sold by Pioneer anymore.
  2. Hello everyone, okay im new at this, so please dont bash. Ive done my research around, but never could find a conclusion on how to make it work. Im buying a z130bt, i want to have the ipod cable along with the aux and an extra usb. i read that most usb hubs don't work, and since the z130 only has one usb slot it would already take up the place for the ipod connection, along with the aux connection. i have a 08 Subaru STI (non Nav) and it has the aux in the center console, would i still have that connection or would the ipod take it away? would a usb splitter work to have two usb slo
  3. Hi all. New to the forum as I did just installed an AVIC Z140 to a Subaru Forester. While I am still exploring the capabilities of t he deck I need some help. My wife has two cell phones. An older Nokia N97 (Symbian) and a Google-Samsung Nexus S (Android). In the Subaru there was an AUX input that you could connect with a simple wire (AV) and listen to your music. You could not control the phone but you could listen to music. I have that USB/AV female cable but when I connect the phone the unit does not see it. Both phones do not have HDMI or anything like that connection so her only way to c
  4. I have an AUX IN connected to the RCA cables back of my X940BT. I haven't the slightest idea how to select the input through the interface. I've been through the manual, and I've searched here but I still don't know how to access it. Help?
  5. 3.5mm vs RCA input Does anybody have a prefernce on this? I just bought a car that already has this pre-installed. I just want to use my iphone to play music and read many reviews that the CB-IB100II Ipod Adaptor is clunky at best. I don't mind using the aux input but want to get some feedback. Also, for the life of me I can't seem to find a pic of the rear of this unit to ensure I purchase the proper part that connects if buying the 3.5mm. Is this the best option? http://www.bonanza.c...OD-a15/24358238 Thanks in advance.
