04ctd
a friend said they pay XM by the year, it's $8 a month like that. i am really too lazy to make a bunch of CD's, and think XM might be the solution to leaving the Navi DVD in. too cheap to buy an IPOD, and the adapter, then futz with all that. and i might get to hear more music on XM than if i have to bum/beg/borrow files from my buds. even the 1300 MP3 files i have are all 70's & 80's stuff. will i be impressed with the XM & traffic routing, or is it pooh? surfer8210
I'm not sure where you live but that has a lot to do with it. XM Nav works better in some places than others.

whtcrxghst
Helps me plan my route home. Just by looking at the list of traffic accidents, I can decide which freeways to take. In my opinion, the traffic flow info is often wrong, but just knowing which freeway to take home saves me valuable time. And its four fricken dollars a month. Skip a beer once a month and it won't cramp your wallet
04ctd
eh, we only got one freeway...... here's the real deal: http://www.xmradio.com/navtraffic/market_coverage.xmc no coverage at all in my area. 2. Subscribing to the XM NavTraffic service: The XM NavTraffic service is available as a stand alone package (without XM radio) or as a premium package coupled with XM radio at $3.99 per month and the $12.95 monthly radio subscription. That is roughly $1 per week for the real-time traffic information provided by XM NavTraffic. Service Pricing: XM NavTraffic only: $9.95 per month XM NavTraffic and XM radio combined: $12.95 radio plus $3.99 NavTraffic = $16.94 per month. A one-time activation fee may also apply
whtcrxghst
I forget the sports scores and stock quotes too. Part of the $4 add on
carpenter
You don't need the $4 navtraffic for sports scores and stock quotes.
