rhawey56
For some reason only the videos on my iPod that will work with my n4 are the ones purchased from the apple video store. All the movies on my iPod work on the iPod however. I am using the CD-I200 cable and controling videos from the n4 screen. Is there a specific way to encode the videos or is it something else? Any suggestions?

rhawey56
Well I'm on osx and already use handbrake which i understood to be a great app. Is there a specific bitrate or resolution i need to use. The video files i'm creating are working on the iPod(which is a fifth gen).
occb2
Dude, I have a N4 and a Mac. I use Handbrake and put it on the Ipod Hi res setting. Works like a charm. The movies are about a Gig after transfer but work like a charm. If I put the setting on Normal, it won't work. Good luck, Rob
