Not very conclusive, really. I'd say if you already have the PNR1, give it a shot and if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. If you're looking to buy a PNR1 because it's cheaper than a PNR2, you might want to save the trouble of buying it and finding out afterwardss that it's not compatible, and buy the PNR2 instead.

I use the PNR1 on mine...Works great. Its the same as the PNR2 only it doesn't have the song memory function or gametracker

 

I have it on mine also... No issues.

 

Didn't really know if there was an advantage of upgrading to the PNR2 - I thought I saw somewhere/place that it would display the station logos.
