Help a girl out with the D3 bypass!

Recommended Posts

I just had the Avic D3 installed in my 2005 Tahoe. The guy that installed it would not do the bypass because of liability reasons. My father knows how to do it because he installed the same unit in his FJ Cruiser but he lives in Texas and can't do it for me. Can someone please give me some "girl-friendly" instructions on how to do the bypass? Or is there someone who lives around my area that would be willing to come do it for me?

I really want to be able to watch iPod videos and DVD's while I'm driving and operate the full NAV system. Thanks in advance for any help!
