skipa4
I'm nav shopping. I saw in the Pioneer web pages that the D3 does not support detailed city maps where the N4 supports 23 cities. How detailed are the cities? I'm used to the VW Navteq that has about every road as far as I know. Would I be disappointed with the D3 maps?
mrgoodbar67
well......where do you live? i know that major metro cities and surrounding areas are displayed.
HiFiSi
I can zoom in to about a 1 or 2 block area. And I live in the middle of nowhere. Seems OK to me.
Camelot One
The D3 has great maps (though it's time for an updated map disc, too many new roads here in Austin that aren't in it) BUT....you have to have the DVD Map disc in the unit to get the close up detail. I think 1mile is the furthest you can zoom in without it, but with it you can go down to .1 mile.
