INDIVIDUALS TX RYDER
damn 24 views and nothin?
inferno999
damn 24 views and nothin? This feature was put in as a theft deterrent. If there were a way to get around it, it wouldn't be much of a deterrent, would it. Be GLAD that you have to send it to Pioneer with proof of purchase to have it reset. =D
HiFiSi
And if you can't send it to Pioneer with proof of purchase so they can unlock it, you're not losing out on anything, since you got it for free.
jcorleone99
Yea, its that new security-code anti-theft feature. You see it on double-dins since they can't add a detachable face. someone sets the code and once power is disconnected, you have to enter the code to get it to work again. it can be good, and it can't. too bad someone actually has to steal it first before they realize it's useless. and you're still stuck with a hole in your dash. numberone
I happy for you but if a "local" shop is able to get around the code then the security feature is almost useless.
