jimmy303
Like I said earlier in this forum, I was able to get audio out of the factory flip down, but not video.
ThisIsZac
I'm back. One of the issues I'm having is that I never looked in to completing the install to integrate the rear DVD player. Work caught up on me, and I didn't have the time to fiddle with it. It still has power (in that it will accept/eject a DVD), but no video/audio. I will likely just bring it to the installer when I get the extra cash. If anyone successfully installed it with rear-DVD functionality, in a 2005+ Expedition, I'd like to chat with them about it. Off the topic, I'm a little jealous of the new 2008 Expedition DVD players. They look much nicer and sleeker than the clunky ones they shoved in the 2006s.
Lu Scola
I did a D3 in a 2003 Denali with factory rear dvd/tv. The unit stayed functional with no mods. I also ran Av from the D3 through the rca jack on rear screen. You have to use the headphones to hear the dvd movie if inserted in the rear entertainment area dvd player.
