greggo88
I recently purchased a CD-UB100 USB device for my AVIC-N4. It recognizes an attached drive, shows the files, and plays the music with the time counter. However, the music does not play over the speakers. The audio works fine on all the other devices. The CD-UB100 is daisy-chained to the XM receiver. The power supply is connected properly. I have adjusted all the sound settings with no success. Any suggestions? cntrylvr79
move the ipbus cable from the port it's in in the cd-ub100 to the other port.
greggo88
Thank you very much. That solution worked. That's what I get for hooking it up in the dark with a flashlight! Now all I need to know is how to get it to read my external HD. It reads my flash drive which is formatted as FAT32. My external HD is NTSF with 2.0 speed. Will the CB-UB100 still read an NTSF drive? I have enabled sharing, but that has not helped. I have followed the instructions for the NO AUDIO message, but it has not helped. Is there anything else I can do? move the ipbus cable from the port it's in in the cd-ub100 to the other port.
inferno999
Will the CB-UB100 still read an NTSF drive? Nope. See attached. FAT only. Is there anything else I can do? Yup! Format the drive using FAT
