cntrylvr79
The top and bottom lips of where the stock radio mounts. You;ll also have to remove the metal rail behind the radio.

393stroker
where's the location of bracket? maybe mine was taken out by the person i got truck from.
cntrylvr79
If you look at the stock radio, you notice how it slopes downward from the top of the face to the back. Well that would be the shape of the bracket. If you don't see it when you take the radio out, then the previous owner did you a favor and took it out already.
393stroker
yeah, when i got the truck, it had an aftermarket head unit in it and it looked like a double din unit. i put the stock unit in about a year ago. it's got plastic that looks to be in the way. i might have to cut some out. Dane186
Some dont have the metal bar, some do. From experience, most don't. Take a pic with your radio taken out and post it.
393stroker
i'll do that tomorrow.
