rwerth7
I would appreciate any input from those who have experience with using the XM Nav Traffic in the Seattle WA area. I am considering buying the XM tuner for my Z2 and I'm undecided as to whethter to get the one with or without the Nav Traffic. Thanks in advance for your input. rwerth7
Have not seen this b4. I'm new to the XM Traffic. Is the map showing the roads are are reported on by XM Traffic? Thanks

Major rods only, of course. See the color legend on the left. Incidents means a small icon will appear where accidents or closed roads etc. occur. Flow is the current speed of said road, which shows up as a colored line next to the freeway.
gkurt
Go to Google Maps, search for "Seattle", then when the map comes up, click the "traffic" box. Same data, looks a little different. In my tests around here (Chicago-Milwaukee) the Google data is more current than XM's. For that matter, XM's is really so old it's unreliable.
jasona900
Yep. Just drove through 3 days ago, and it worked like a champ. Like stated, just the major roads. I'm living in Anacortes now, and no traffic data up here though
djmixmac
The flow enabled roads are kind of limited to only the King County and parts of Snohomish and Pierce county highways, and this is something you can get from the radio anyway. I currently just have my iphone mounted next to the z2 and just use that to look up google maps traffic
