That unit's been out for a while now, and it's only designed to work fully with HDradio-ready head units, which the D3 is not. More on this subject here: http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=86725 The AVIC-D3 will work with this unit but it will lack of some features: WORDS FROM PIONEER.com "External Control" capable with other Pioneer IP-Bus headunits, a/v receivers and navigation systems, with some limitations of display and control. Please review Owner's Manual(s) for more details http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... /GEX-P10HD
