HiFiSi
If you're only looking to do a simple backup, you can use DVD Decrypter: http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/ It's a simple free program that both rips and burns ISO's to and from DVD's.
MikeBlueP5
just did this last night so i can keep my original east disc nice and safe. I used dvd decrypter to copy the iso and mds file to my desktop, i tried burning it with nero but my dumbass burnt the actual iso file. on the next try i used alcohol 120 just make sure you set the booktype to dvd-rom. I used the highly unapproved memorex (ritek) discs and it still works perfect, i have poi's and everything intact. if you have any questions pm me and i can try to help, i have noticed there are touchy topics on here and this seems to be one of them. I can understand why though, its a matter of search and read. It took me about 3 hours reading and trial and error to get it. (not to mention 2 dvd+r dl that are coasters now, they say 3rd times a charm)
shonseb
Thanks guys!! I originally tried to copy with nero and it didn't even recognize my disc (when I used the n4 discs). Dvd decrypter worked beautifully!!
