taichi2134
I bought a ND-BT1 for my avic-z1 -> z2 on ebay, but after installation it will not pair with my phone. I have a Samsung SGH-T809, is there a known problem with pairing with this phone. Should I get a new phone??
dominick367
I just got my Z2 installed today also. I usually dont read instructions but I did on this one. You need to make sure voice privacy is off on your phone. You then need to make sure you"register" you phone with the Z2 under info>phone settings. See if that helps BUT- Help me on this- Its paired. voice privacy is off.. I can hear them, they cant hear me. Help?

taichi2134
Hey, thanks for all the help. I got it to work, it looks like it was having problem detecting the bluetooth ND-BT1. I reseated the connector and it works like a champ. It is pairing the phone with all the functions working.
dominick367
Is your mic plugged in securely? It is externally from what I can see. Should I take it back to the shop and have Tech fix or look at it from under dash?
whtcrxghst
Does your voice recognition work to do other functions? Can you press the little blue circular icon at the bottom left hand corner of the screen to activate it?
