I have a Z2 with amp for subs and speakers. It was working fine but recently I took it out of the dask to added the ipod cenntection. After reinstalling everything I get a consent static on the speakers. when I disconnect the speaker RCA to the amp, I hear the sub booming but the Z2 is not even playing anything. When I hook the RCA for the speaker, the speaker play the music but the static is always there. And when I turn the power off, THe speaker gets a loud brust static before it go off. HELP!! Any one know the cause, could it be the internal fuse for the RCA????

what kind of software feature had they upgraded?? Tell me at least they made so that it display more character of the song name!

Hey, thanks for all the help. I got it to work, it looks like it was having problem detecting the bluetooth ND-BT1. I reseated the connector and it works like a champ. It is pairing the phone with all the functions working.

I bought a ND-BT1 for my avic-z1 -> z2 on ebay, but after installation it will not pair with my phone. I have a Samsung SGH-T809, is there a known problem with pairing with this phone. Should I get a new phone??

Yes is will work. Although the on-board firmware is updated to Z2 but I have tested to be able to insert the orig Z1 drive to work.

I know that the image is bypass but my question does the image have the latest MAPs that come out with the update CD?? thanks. I will be buying a hard drive for my upgrade. And thinking about buying another hard drive for my sisters Z2 because her is the older version.

Get gparted liveCD, it is an open source linux program that will both your computer into the program and you can repartition it that way.

Can you please make one that looks like this. But one with honda and one with acura logo. Don't say welcome Austin but say "Welcome Acura Navigation System" in front in three lines and "Loading" in the back just like this one.

I am getting no speed pulse too, but the signal is fine. The VSS is hood up and I look at the setting and notice the speed of my car is very accurate on the Z1 and the speedometer. Oh and my 3D meter in setup is has not moved at all, but when I turn I notice the Z1 show angle change. My unit is set at center position.

I had a lot of Chinese and Japanese music but I can't seem to get it to title information display properly on my Z1. It display fine on my computer with the Microsoft Far-east language extension. Is there a special to do it for the Z1 or the Z2?? I and thinking about uploading a Z2 image later. Is there something I can do to make it work?? Thanks.

I will give it a try, It was both grounded to begin with. I have check the ground connector and use the original pin from the phone mute for the second secret wire so it should be fine. I will check it out tomorrow morning and thanks.

I install my Z1 on my RSX and using the 2 wire ground bypass and it work great. I am able to watch DVD and full Nav function while in motion. But I am sick of the error message I keep getting at boot up. The message say that it "detect the break senor wired incorrectly" or something along that line. I just push "OK" and continue. Is there a way to get rid of that. Thanks

I notice that the dash is a perfect fit, is that a dash kit or the original modified?
