whtcrxghst
You need to pull the deck out to move the pin so you're going to have to take it out anyway http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4670
dantheman6985
well i heard all u have to do is ground out the emergency brake wire, and if that doesnt work just run it to a constant power, i never heard of anything like haveing to move the wire
HiFiSi
Well what you heard is wrong. To do the bypass, look at 1 of the 4 sticky topics here: http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=11 You have to ground the parking brake wire to the body of the car. But you WILL have to remove the unit because to do the bypass, you also have to move the mute wire to a different pin position on the D3' harness and ground that as well. That is the ONLY way to bypass the lockout. Also, DO NOT hook up the parking brake wire to a constant power source. That would be very bad.

HiFiSi
Attach it to a bolt or screw on body of the car or to the radio's ground wire.
