SD42176 Posted March 15, 2008 Report Share Posted March 15, 2008 I have a N2, I have the orange wire of N2 hooked to my illumination wire on my LS. At night the unit will dim. I have a friend with a N1 at night his background on navigation is black, mine is white. Is there a way I can change this, I read the owners manual and cant find anything. The white background is still a little bright, black would be much better. Anyone heard of this??? THANK YOU! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
whtcrxghst Posted March 15, 2008 Report Share Posted March 15, 2008 You have your illumination wire hooked up to the wrong wire. When you turn on your headlights, the map should go to black. It dims because it has an ambient light sensor so it knows how light or dark it is Quote Link to post Share on other sites
