Nomar1245
I recently took my D3 out of my 2001 Honda Accord and put it in my 96 Nissan Maxima. The bypass worked fine in the Accord and at first it worked fine in the Maxima. But now it only works as long as I'm driving under 15 mph. Once I go over that speed, I have to come to nearly a complete stop before the warning goes away and the video comes back on. I checked my grounds and wiring quite a few times, and I can't see the problem. I read on here that someone had the same problem a few weeks ago, but I couldn't find the thread. I've been searching for a while but I haven't been able to figure out the problem. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks
cntrylvr79
there's no ground in the nissan harness. You have to hook the ground wire of the avic to metal behind the dash. tHere's also 3 stickies dealing with this in the hacks/mods section.
Nomar1245
I've already done that though. I have 4 wires grounded behind the radio. The black ground wire from the D3, the black ground wire for the Bluetooth Adapter, the Green Parking brake wire, and the Yellow/Black Mute wire that was moved up one spot. cntrylvr79
then recheck them.
Nomar1245
I will check them again, but is that definitly what's causing it, or just the most likely problem?
whtcrxghst
Either that or the pin that you moved is not making good contact
