duksrule
I did a search but no help. I got my ACIC-Z2 today and am wondering if there is a way to get my MP3 library onto it. An easy way that is.... short of burning each one onto a music CD so the head unit thinks it is a normal CD. My radio will play MP3s burned to a disk but wont put them onto the hard drive. Even if I had to take out the hard drive and put it into a computer to get them on there, it would take months less time than making a music CD of every MP3. Any help? duksrule
Could I take out the hard drive and slave it to a computer to copy them?

duksrule
Crap looks like I will be burning some CDs. I can't believe with how HiTech this thing is, that it doesn't have a USB port in it.

Only way is to use an external player (iPOD), or a USB stick or something with the usb interface : click: UB100
duksrule
but will this let you transfer the mp3s? I have my IPOD connected now but you can't load the songs onto the hard drive

I have my IPOD connected now but you can't load the songs onto the hard drive No, there's no way to transfer MP3s to harddisk with the Z1/Z2, and even if you could (which you can't), the Z1/Z2 can't play MP3's from harddisk. CD's are ripped to a different format...
