rakeshb10
So I bought my pioneer D3 off of ebay, and it turns out that I'm missing the following: -16.25' Speed signal extension lead (pink with attached female bullet connector) -16.25' Reverse signal extension lead (purple/white wire with in-line fuse resistor and attached plastic wire splicer) -GPS Antenna Wire. My thoughts are that this was a stolen unit. I've connected the unit, powered it up. and it works fine... all but GPS How do I replace those missing units? I'm assuming this is all needed for the Navigation function.. PLEASE HELP!!
HiFiSi
-16.25' Speed signal extension lead (pink with attached female bullet connector)-16.25' Reverse signal extension lead (purple/white wire with in-line fuse resistor and attached plastic wire splicer) Both of those are just lengths of standard wire. Go to a hardware or electronics store and buy some. You can get like 25' of it for under $5. -GPS Antenna Wire. Do you have the antenna? Because the wire is ATTACHED to the antenna. If the antenna has no wire, the antenna is no good and you'll have to buy another one. You can buy a replacement antenna here: http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/part.asp?productNum=CXC4864 Also, here are the links to the two wire leads you're missing, but I'm sure you'll agree that $35 plus shipping is just outrageous for two simple pieces of wire. http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/part.asp?productNum=CDE5044 http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/part.asp?productNum=CDE6825
Julius
Do you have the Nav disk?
SpecialFX
I didn't need my extensions due to my wiring harness taking care of those signals for me. You can have mine cheap. Actual shipping plus a couple bucks for my trouble. Let me know. More looking to help a guy out than making money from it.
deuceduzit
So...The reverse wire is just a regular wire??? Whats that in-line fuse thing then??? I am also in the same position, can I just use regular wire? Or do I have to purchase a special wire w/ in-line fuse for the reverse signal??? Thanks in advance...
