dstylez
Sorry if this is a repeated question, I just couldn't find what to search for regarding this. On the D3, can you use the navi + listen to a cd at the same time? Or is it one drive for it all that requires the nav dvd to operate? Thanks!
mlarco52
put the nav disc in.....program your route....take the nav disc out and insert your cd...you cant change routes or nothing like that when the nav disc aint in there but atleast you can follow guidance cuz with the disk out it switches to harddrive so you can still follow the route u programmed and see some roads u are driving on the way there and listen to music

JMan
I would recommend one of the 5.5 Gen Refurbs from Apples website. So far it sucks not having video support with the new iPod Classics.
whtcrxghst
Seconded. $189 with free shipping for an 80 gig I would recommend one of the 5.5 Gen Refurbs from Apples website. So far it sucks not having video support with the new iPod Classics.

HiFiSi
No... you need a 5.5 gen OR OLDER ipod.
Nate2003
No... you need a 5.5 gen OR OLDER ipod. I keep hearing talk of gen5 and gen5.5.. aren't they they same thing? People say there is only Gen5 and Gen6.. so is like 5.5 just a Gen5 with higher firmware updates? The actual hardware is the same correct?

Go to the model timeline at the bottom of this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPod Basically... the 5th gen came out in October 2005 and were 30GB and 60GB models, and the 5.5 gen came out a year later and were 30GB and 80GB models that had a new search feature. There were no visible differences between the two.
