shhnappa
Hi, I've read through all of the bluetooth echo problem and update threads here, and decided to contact Pioneer and get the update disc for free instead of burning the image off of the many links posted in the original post for this problem. Now to my question, I recieved the update disc labled "Updating Disc for AVIC-Z1 S-73799" today, I have a Sept built Z1 with the two wire bypass, and wanted to know if this disc will cause any other problems to my bypass or will it just fix what I need which is the Bluetooth echo problem and leave everything else they way it was? Thanks in advance for your help.
whtcrxghst
It won't do anything except help the echo problem. Throw it in there
shhnappa
It won't do anything except help the echo problem. Throw it in there So I "Threw it in" and the screen tells me that it has already been updated, but I still have an echo problem, any additional thoughts?
whtcrxghst
Try different mic locations and making the caller only come through one side of speakers or the other
inferno999
I've also noticed that, even after the update, I have to keep the caller voice volume on the Z2's volumes screen to 50% or below, or there will be echo.
