04ctd Posted April 12, 2008 Author Report Share Posted April 12, 2008 i am too poor for an IPOD player, so i don't know. the normal D3 remote on ebay is large (home TV size) and you can't find the buttons without looking. you can operate this remote by feel, without taking your eyes off the road. installermarc Posted April 13, 2008 Report Share Posted April 13, 2008 I use that same remote, and yes it changes tracks on the iPod, channels and presets on FM and XM. and if you are in map mode and want to see what the current song is, press the disp button, and it will show on the bottom (may do this on big remote, I don't know because I too did not want to fumble while using the remote).
