Specific differences - D1/D2/D3?

So, I recently bought a D2, and from what I've read, its the same as the D1, except for the XMTraffic option. The D3 obviously has the DVD video playing option...

 

What other upgrades and improvements did they put throughout the D1/D2/D3? I did a search and went through several pages of posts, but didn't see anything that specifically addresses this one...

d1/d2 are identical except for the map software that came with it. The d3 is a whole different ball of wax. Ipod support no tilt face, no dedicated map disc slot. Front aux input. No direct tv tuner control.

So, with my D2-

 

If I don't have an Ipod, always leave the screen flat anyways, don't want a front aux input, don't want Directtv, and love the two drives- Are there any functional reasons, other than playing DVDvideo on the screen why if I came into some extra cash, I should get a D3?

 

I'm loving my D2 with XM!

That wasn't my point. The point was if you had seen the topic, why not add to it rather than create a separate topic asking the same exact question.

 

And no, in your case there's no point to upgrading to the D3.
