kevfra
I just installed a slightly used D3, seemingly good condition. I wired everything and ran it - seemed fine, did what it is supposed to do. Went out of town for three days and came back to a drained battery. Unit won't turn on at all and car won't crank. Have the charger on it now. Do these things have a history of some problem like this?
HiFiSi
Check to make sure you hooked up the power wires correctly. Red to switched, yellow to constant. If you get it wrong, the unit might stay on constantly and drain the battery.
Julius
Are you sure its not your alternator?
kevfra
Car won't start and Avic won't turn on - but it's not the battery. This is going to be interesting! Hey does anyone have the wire color code for speaker wires - not the RCA plugs, just the wires for going straight to speakers without amp. Thanks.
HiFiSi
It's in the manual.
