typhoon43
I just finished yanking my Z2 to ground the RCA's, and then thought about doing the bypass. Well I didn't get the "Audio 2" molex plug when I bought it, and I couldn't find a way to ground that one pin, so I jsut went ahead with the install. I gounded the Green EBrake wire because I hadn't done it and my DVD's would just give me audio and the infamous warning message about not viewing when driving. Well all I did was ground the Ebrake wire, and my DVD started playing. I then backed out of the garage, and the video kept going! I was under the impression this wouldn;t work until you did the 2 wire mod and the firmware disc. I'm not complaining at all, but I'm slightly confused. Anyone had this happen to them? whtcrxghst
It will work for a while until it calibrates...then you are out of luck
big-fokker
Pre bypass, mine worked in reverse, but as soon as I hit drive it would blank out.

I drove 30 minutes to work today with a DVD going and I'm still good. I'll check back at lunch.

typhoon43
Yup, did it to me at lunch. Oh well, going to yank the deck one more time and do the 2 wire for real.
