bwolfe
I didn't want to pollute an already in progress topic, so I did a new one. Here is the dilemma, I have the F900BT and the bluetooth works with a little static, OK maybe a little more than a little. Now I want to transfer my phonebook from my BB Curve 8310 and for the life of me I can't figure how to send them. The F900BT sits and waits for the transfer, but I can't figure out how to initiate a transfer from my phone to my radio. Anyone out there with the 8310 who has done this? Thanks. bwolfe
I figured it out. Under -> Options -> Bluetooth. You need to be connected and then an option shows up to transfer phonebook.
bwolfe
Anyone else have one of these? When I transfer the phonebook it only sends over 6 of the 80 contacts I have. I have tried it four times and the same results. Funny thing is, its the same 6 contacts each time. Help?
TriGem2k
I can't seem to get my AT&T Blackberry 8310 to connect to my Avic-F90BT... What am I doing wrong here? They are both searching for connection but can't find each other. My brothers iPhone worked right away... Please advise Thanks, James

lemonhead
I have the same problem, however mine will connect for a minute then disconnect on it's own?? Any thoughts Mine does that too, erractically. After a while it will usually connect but gives the "connection to pioneer navi failed" a few times first.
bwolfe
Mine will stay connected, it just will only move over a small amount of contacts. So it kind of sucks. On my d3, I had no problems whatsoever.

brisk
I have the 8330 from Sprint. Was able to transfer over all my contacts BUT...can't dial! I just found this out. I can receive calls with no issues and speak with no static but dialing is a different issue. Maybe I should try to reset it. But all I did was option->bluetooth->let others find my device->ok Then on the navi phone settings and connection. After the phone connected you can just transfer... at least thats what i did... tacomaboy
Hmm I also have the Sprint 8330, and while it takes a long time to connect, I am pretty certain I was able to make calls via my phone book. I think it transferred all of them, but did not double check. Its moot for me as the call quality is so poor for the remote party that I have turned it off. They all say I am in a wind tunnel. I have literally turned the AC off, and held the mic in my hand, moving it around the cabin and trying different spots - as close as 12" from my face, to no avail.
